SNEAK PEAK OF THE SPRING LOOKBOOK

Hello everybody !

I was wandering for a quite a while about making a youtube videos, but I'm not sure if I can handle this. As you may know I'm not fluent in english, so it could be a bit hard for me. But as someone said, you'll never know unless you try :) As a first video I thought about Spring Lookbook. Outfits from yesterday's and today's post would be included.
Even though we already have spring in our calendars, it is still freezing outside, so when would be a better time for an oversized camel coat then now ?
Hope you enjoy : )

MY EVERYDAY MAKEUP ROUTINE

Hello !

I was wandering for a quite a while what kind of post should I insert next and I decided to make "My everyday makeup routine" Obviousely I'm not a makeup artist however I love doing my makeup and testing new products. I really enjoy a lot of the makeup pieces that I'm using right now so I thought I would share that with you :)

                                                                FACE

So the first thing that I am doing before putting any makeup on is moisturizing my face and to do that I used my favourite moisturizer ever Clinique dramatically different moisturizing cream. I've wrote about this cream in my January Favourites post. I absolutly adore it, it absorbs very quickly and leaves my skin fresh and incredibly moisturized. Next I apply foundation or BB cream. For todays look I used BB cream from Garnier because I was having good skin day and thought I can use somethig lighter ( when I'm feeleng that my skin needs a little more coverege I usually use Revlon Colorstay foundation ). For blending that out I used Real Techniques buffing brush. Then on my blemishes, under eyes, and the top of my nose I apply some Loreal True Match concealer in number 2 "Vanilla" by a wet beauty blender using quick, stipping motions. Wetting your beauty blender makes your foundation or colcealer look flawles, it absorbes the water so the product that you're going to use sits on the top of the sponge, that way it doesn't absorbe all way into the middle of it. Before powdering my skin I like to do contour first, mainly because when you are doing contouring on powdered skin it doesn't blend so well and I didn't want any harsh lines. I contoured under my cheekbones, on my temple, and jawline. To do that I used Maybelline Master Sculpt Contour Palette in number 02 "Medium Dark" with Hakuro H21 brush, then I powdered my face, especially the T-zone with Collection Lasting Perfection powder by using Inglot 15BJF brush. I usually use Loreal True Match powder but mine unfortunlly got shattered and all that has left are just tiny, little pieces. To make my face makeup complete I highlighted my T-zone, above cheekbones, and a little above mouth - that makes your lips look a bit bigger.

Face done, so lets jump into eyes and brows.

EYES / BROWS

First thing I do before putting anything on my eyes is powdering my lashes, just a bit, so my lashes will look fuller after applying mascara. Then I take my Loreal concealer again and use it as a base to eyeshadows. This will make them stay longer and look more pigmented. The eyeshadow that I used were Collection Little Mix Love - All About The Eyes Palette. I chosed two colours, "Dazzling Brown" on the top of my eyelid and "Cocoa Dream" in the creases. For putting and blending the eyeshadows I used Hakuro H79 brush.

Next I made a line with Bourjois Mega Liner Ultra Black. I really like this eyeliner, it stays on for all day, it doesn't fade, and dries in a second. Easy to use and also very pigmented. Love it.
Then on my lashes I used Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, but first I curled them with eyelash curler from Avon. I'm absolutly obsessed with this mascara, I wrote about it in my January Favourites post.

Eyebrows was my struggle since I remember, I always did them wrong. I filled them with eyeshadows, sometimes it looked okey sometimes not, but a year ago I found my brow saver. The Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint & Precision Shaping Pencil in colour Brownie Points. It has two ends. One for shaping, one for filling. Easy to use, so if you have problem with your eyebrows go and check it out.

LIPS

My favourite part of makeup - LIPS ! I relly like making my lips, testing different shades of lipsticks. This part makes our look complete and defined. So, the lipstick that I used today was Mac in the shade "Velvet Teddy". I love this lipstick so much, it has this gorgeous nude colour. Like all Mac lipsticks it stays on long hours, it has lovely consistency, makes lips soft and flawles. But before that to make my lips a little more bigger, I contoured my lips with Mac Lip Pencil in the shade "Spiece".

That is everything for today. Hope you liked it guys.

Kisses x

JANUARY FAVOURITES

Hello everybody !

I’m sure we all can say that January went so quickly. That’s just crazy ! I havent even noticed and it’s half of February already ! Actually I’m very happy about it because it’s gonna be warmer soon and I’m probably the most chilly person ever.

Anyway, January is gone so it is time to share my favourites with you my loves :)

Firstly I want to talk about The Body Shop Coconut Body Milk.

There are few reasons why I wanted to buy this product - because of the great opinions about it ofcourse, but also cause I had The Body Shop Coconut Butter before and I wanted to compare them. Same smell but very different consistency. Butter was tough and it took a while to spread it on to the body. So the conclusion seems to be clear, Body Milk definitely wins. It is much easier to apply cause it is more liquidy and has a pump. It leaves skin so soft and feeling really great. I can definitely recomend it to those of you who doesn’t like this sticky and cloggy feeling after using body lotion. Dries quickly too.

£8

Next product is Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream. LOVED IT. The best moisturizer I have ever tried in my entire life. It’s not heavy, actually it is quite light. 100% fragrance free. Leaves lovely, smooth feeling on the skin. Has made such a difference to my skin. It is for every skin type, allergy tested. Generally I’m AMAZED with this cream.

£15 - 30ml / £25 - 50ml

Another piece is make up related. Let me introduce to you beloved by everyone Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. One of the best mascaras I’ve ever tried. Big brush makes lashes full and defined. It makes wonders even on the shortest lashes. Also has the cutest, pink packaging that mascara could have. Love it a lot and definietly will buy another one.

£19

Fourth and fifth on my favourites are lipsticks.

First one is from Avon and it is called Luxe Special Edition Couture in a colour "designer red". It is like this classic, Hollywood red. Very energetic, bright and so pigmented. Has really nice, buttery consistency. Stays on well through the day. The packaging is another plus. It is gold ! Very sophisticated and ladylike. We all like pretty things, don’t we ? :)

£7

Last but not least is lipstick from Golden Rose - Velvet Matte Lipstick  in number 23. It is a lot darker shade of red than the Avon one. Looks like pure burgundy colour. Creates pretty, matte finish on the lips, smoothly glides. Very important ! Doesn’t leave this characteristic for some matte lipsticks dry effect and feeling.  I don’t think it is available in UK but you can find it on amazon, and they are bargain for such quality ( something about £2,5 )

The last product that I want to share with you is Jimmy Choo Perfumes. I’m not the best in describing scents but I’ll try my best :)

They are made from Tiger Orchid, Sweet Toffe Caramel and Indonesian Patchouli so they are quite sweet and floral with a hint of fruits. Very fresh, girly scent. Love it.

£52 - 60ml

That is everything for my January favourites. Hope you enjoyed it and please leave me your coments and opinions.

FEW WORDS ABOUT ME ..

Firstly I want to say hello to all of you and thank you so much for checking out my new blog !

My name is Edyta and I'm from Poland.
I thought about starting a blog from about 2 - 3 years now, but I have never found enough courage in myself to do it. I always told myself that it doesn't make any sense, that I'll only make a fool of myself and at the end, nobody will be interested to read it or even look at it.
But I'm at a very strange time in my life now, and I decided to finally listen to my heart and do what it says.

I'm gonna be 21 in december. Two times I've tried studying at the university so far. No satisfaction from it at all. It makes me really sad and emotional.
Let me start from the begining. When I first came to UK, with was 3 years ago, I new after few days that I want to live there one day. Obviously, I was amazed by London, struck by its impact and its architecture. I felt like I have found my place on earth, where I want to stay and live. Ofcourse it wasn't only about the stunning London, I mean generally UK. Lovely people, this characteristic atmosphere. Life there is more happier and I loved it. I'm sure that most of you felt something similar in your own lifes. If not, go and look for it, whatever it is, it's totally worth it. I promise.
Anyway. After graduating from high school I started studying sociology at university in Wroclaw, with I've quitet sooner than I would ever thought. And I flew to UK. ( ofcourse :) )
I have lived and worked in Bournemoth ( south coast of England ) until the holidays.
Another year. Another bad decision. In October 2015 I've started studying again. Journalism this time. Now it's half of February and I have quitted uni again. I know it might look like total failure, but it's really hard to do something you don't enjoy doing, something that doesn't bring you any satisfaction at all. So, I finlly got myself together and made a decision. I'm going to university again. I know, I know how it sounded. LOL. But I meant uni in UK. Like I always dreamt and wanted. Decision is made and there is no turning back.
So, the same with my blog ! I hope that some of you will enjoy it. I hope that it'll give us some satisfaction. I truly belive it. And I'm sory this was so long, but I wanted to share with you part of my story. I hope you haven't got bored, and if you made it this far, thank you !

Sorry for any mistakes, but english is not my first language, even though I did my best :)

xoxo .
